Position Title:Client Accounting Administrator - Financial Services

Salary: £18500 - £19500/annum

Location: Essex

Description: Client Accounting Administrator

Role Responsibility

You will be responsible for ensuring that accounting information is sent to the Management Companies in accordance with Service Level Agreement deadlines. The information presented must be accurate, complete and clear; therefore a high degree of attention to detail will be required. You will also maintain good relationships with the Management Companies and take proactive action to warn of potential problems.

The successful candidate will be required to produce and investigate daily trial balance differences along with the production of required weekly reconciliations, and the preparation of month end accounting packs. You will make sure that processes and procedures are appropriately adhered to. You will attend client finance meetings, as and when required, making sure you effectively communicate all relevant information to appropriate parties involved.

You will also be expected to complete any other appropriate ad hoc tasks as directed by the Client Accounting Team Leader or Manager.

The Ideal Candidate

Your skills & knowledge:

• Knowledge of month-end figure production accounting principles and practise

• Basic keyboard skills to include awareness of MS Office packages.

• Good Verbal reasoning and numeric skills.

• Ability to work without close supervision

Client Accounting Administrator - Financial Services

Nice to have:

• Experience in Financial Services Investment Industry.

• Accounts experience including study for relevant qualifications (e.g. AAT, trainee accountant etc)

• Knowledge of PEP, ISA, Unit Trust, OEIC or Investment Trust administration after attending IFDS Training.

• Knowledge of FSA regulatory environment
