We currently have the following opening in our Akron, Ohio office: Civil Designer.

JOB DESCRIPTION

·         Design work using AutoCAD.

·         Work with survey base mapping.

·         Read field survey notes.

·         Draft underground utility alignment layouts, including gas, water or sewer.

·         Draft appurtenance details.

·         Develop technical specifications.

·         Estimate cost and quantity.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·         Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering plus minimum 2 years experience designing/drafting underground utilities, preferably gas, water and sewer, or:

·         Associate’s degree in Civil Engineering Technology plus minimum 5 years designing/drafting underground utilities, preferably gas, water and sewer.

·         Proficiency in AutoCAD required.
