This individual must be well-organized with attention to detail; able to work with minimal supervision, and be able to address multiple assignments while meeting deadlines.

The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree with a major in Computer Science or related subject. A minimum of 5 year hands on experience with an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and a minimum of 5 years or greater of hands on and development experience utilizing SQL & PL/SQL and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) with Financial Applications along with knowledge in at least three of the following functional areas: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Cash Management, Project Accounting, and Fixed Assets.
Minimum of 5 years or greater of hands on and development experience utilizing SQL & PL/SQL and Oracle Application Framework (OAF) with Supply Chain Applications along with knowledge in at least three of the following functional areas: Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse Management, and Document Imaging.
Travel within NY City and Westchester is required to attend meetings and provide support as necessary. The candidate must be flexible with respect to working off-hours as required for system installations and upgrades, production support or in response to corporate emergencies. Responsibilities: Ensures implementation of Company safety, health and environmental programs for employees whose work is directed. Ensures that safe work practices are followed and the environment is fully protected in accordance with Company policy and governmental regulations.
The successful candidate will have responsibility to maintain and enhance various software applications for the Environmental Health and Safety department in addition to others. Responsibilities will also include supervising contractors and less experienced employees. The software applications provide support for EH&S’s environmental (EMIS) and Safety (SHIMS) areas in addition to the other sections of EH&S. Specific responsibilities will also include the following: performing complex systems analysis and design tasks by working with business users and IT resources, analyzing existing applications and recommending improvements, troubleshooting production problems and determining the correct course of action to resolve. This individual will provide technical leadership, develop methods for reusing existing components, working with business users to prepare requirements analyses for system enhancements or new systems, designing, coding and testing applications, implementing new systems and improvements to existing systems. Responsibilities also include organizing and preparing system documentation, preparing software for production implementation, maintaining knowledge of new technologies, programming languages, business applications and products, providing subject matter expertise where appropriate. The successful candidate will interface with business organizations and developing relationships in order to perform thorough requirements analyses and recommend solutions, leading projects and doing necessary administrative work to support the project management process, works with vendors to install products, supports and maintains vendor packages in production, performing and testing upgrades as necessary. The candidate must also be willing and able to travel within NY City and Westchester to attend meetings and provide support as necessary. The candidate must be flexible with respect to working off-hours as required for system installations and upgrades, production support or in response to corporate emergencies.
